Nutrition Tips : Well-Fuelled Kids Have More Energy for Exercise
Just like adults, kids also need to be sufficiently fuelled to do activity. Running without food in the tank is like trying to drive a car that’s low on fuel-it doesn’t work as well. If your child is lethargic during exercise, they might not enjoy it, be less active during the game or even stop taking part. Encourage active kids to eat pre-exercise snacks such as banana with peanut butter, yoghurt with berries or cereal and milk.
